<br />Project Engineer - The stormwater improvements included the removal of 425 LF of C.M.P. replaced with 24”
<br />R.C.P. and exfiltration trench, along with 140 LF of new trench. The local site constraints and soil conditions did
<br />not allow for the construction of the standard Miami Dade County exfiltration trench section so the typical trench
<br />section proposed is 5’ wide x 4.5’ tall, with the bottom of the trench depth varying from 6.5’ to 8.5’ below grade.
<br />This section allowed the contractor to utilize a standard trench box as opposed to sheet piles which would be
<br />required for deeper installations. The improvements also included four drainage wells with baffle structures.

<br />29,900 SY of roadway reconstruction.

<br />Place gatehouse, which is approximately 2,100 feet East of NE 34th Avenue. The Work also included curb &
<br />gutter repair, pavement marking & signage, and manhole/valve box adjustments.
