<br />Under the firm's continuous contract with the Florida Department of Management Services, complete roof replacement, curtain wall
<br />(building envelope) replacement and emergency back-up A/C system for control rooms support. New glazing storefront and window
<br />systems along select areas of the east, north and west sides of the building were removed and reinstalled. The work was coordinated
<br />and completed in phases so the facility could remain in operation during construction. Cost: $1,500,000. Role: Project Manager.

<br />Shenandoah Middle School Renovations (Continuing Contract)
<br />Miami-Dade County, Florida
<br />Under the firm’s continuing contract with MDCPS (renovations to 11 schools), SMA investigated the historical relevance of the school
<br />and worked with the community to preserve it. Renovations included replacement/modification of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ADA
<br />compliance, roofing upgrade, site drainage, misc. finishes, new replacement store front window system for all classrooms, PA system
<br />replacement, railings and light fixture replacements, and repainting of the entire campus. Role: Project Manager. Cost: $5,172,144.
