(SMA), we are pleased to submit our qualifications for the City of Sunny Isles Beach Continuing Professional Consulting Services RFQ. As demonstrated throughout this proposal, we understand the nature and scope of the services requested, and we are committed to providing the City with all of the necessary resources to complete your projects ON TIME, WITHIN BUDGET, and IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS CONTRACT. Founded in 1976, SMA is an award-winning architectural firm and AIA Florida/Caribbean “2019 Firm of the Year” providing a full range of architectural design and planning services. Our available staffing consists of 29 professionals — including 7 registered architects (4 of which are LEED accredited professionals). The combined knowledge and expertise of the entire Saltz Michelson Architects Team will ensure a consistent standard of design and quality for each of your projects. Understanding of the Work Since our inception, SMA has accumulated an extensive list of open-ended contracts with multiple government and other public agencies — as such, we understand the unique needs of these different and diverse types of projects and have the experience to respond. From planned capital improvements, modernization projects and design criteria to reroofs, ADA upgrades, problem solving, leak solving problems, etc. to remediation and repair after storms, you need a firm with the capability to respond. Having seven registered architects locally available, we have the staffing and over 200 years of accumulated architectural experience to offer the City of Sunny Isles Beach. Experience with Continuing Services Contracts Public contracts are our area of expertise - we have an extensive list of continuing services contracts with multiple public agencies, including with Broward County (27 years), Memorial Healthcare System (25 consecutive years), Miami- Dade County Public Schools (11 schools), and numerous other public entities; as such, we understand the unique needs of these types of projects. Below is a sampling of some of our past and present continuing service contracts.
