Qualification Information and Assigned Personnel <br />Terracon is a privately held employee -owned corporation and in 2019 had annual revenues exceeding <br />$805M, up $52.81VI/7% from the previous year. The company has a long history of solid growth, <br />profitability and financial health. The key to our financial strength has been the commitment of our <br />employees, reinforced by our employee ownership program and controlled growth consistent with <br />financial resources. If you have questions or need additional information, feel free to contact Donald Vrana, Chief <br />Financial Officer or Bryan Paris, Director of Finance, at (800) 593-7777. <br />EXPERIENCE SECURING PERMITS WITH REGULATORY AGENCIES <br />Terracon has a strong history of working as an agent attempting to secure a regulatory permit with the <br />United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the Florida Department of Environmental Protection <br />(FDEP), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), FDOT, Department of Health (DOH) and the <br />South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). We have a good track record of past performance <br />working with them, and have contract working directly for some of these agencies. <br />USACE <br />We deal with USACE on a daily basis regarding natural and cultural resources issues on projects. Many <br />of our projects include wetland delineation and jurisdictional determinations with the, listed species <br />consultation, and a cultural resources assessment survey to obtain clearance from the State Historic <br />Preservation Office (SHPO). Terracon conducts wetland delineation and evaluates jurisdictional Waters <br />of the U.S. and the State, including wetlands, as defined and regulated by federal authority under 33 <br />Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 320-330 and state authority under Chapter 62-301, FAC. <br />FDEP <br />Since 2014, Terracon has been serving as one of the FDEP state -contracted environmental consultants <br />(Agency Term Contractors) for numerous petroleum impacted sites to conduct site assessment and <br />cleanup activities including source removal, site assessment, remediation with engineered remedial <br />treatment systems. Sites have included former/current gas stations, industrial facilities, and transportation <br />facilities. We commonly deal with the FDEP on the behalf of our client's for regulatory compliance and <br />permitting. <br />Site Assessment and Monitoring - For these types of projects Terracon has conducted pre -construction <br />and/or post -construction site assessments in accordance with Chapter 62-780, FAC. We have worked <br />with project teams to establish strategies for addressing the impacted media and to assist the civil <br />engineer in developing a contaminated soil source removal plan, soil management plan, and construction <br />dewatering plan for approval by the FDEP and SFWMD. <br />Stormwater Permitting - Terracon supports clients obtaining NPDES permits with the FDEP related to <br />industrial facilities and construction projects. In 2018, for the City of Pompano Beach, Terracon prepared <br />a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for construction activities during the remediation of a <br />former golf course.
