Terracon conducted a limited mold/water intrusion assessment at 4 designated buildings (1 operational <br />and 3 under construction) at the Everglades Youth Conservation Center to document possible water damaged building materials <br />and establish an IAQ baseline within the facilities. The IAQ parameters measured included temperature (F°), RH, CO, CO2, airborne <br />bioaerosols, and surface fungal spores, structures, hyphae, and other particulates. The bioaerosol samples were collected (spore <br />trap sampling) from representative building materials, indoor locations, and the outdoor environment. Samples were submitted to <br />an independent laboratory for analysis. Terracon provided IAQ/mold results, conclusions, and recommendations included an <br />assessment of the damaged building materials based on observed conditions.
