<br />Orestes Betancourt, with over 35 years of experience in site/civil engineering, serves as the firm’s Senior Civil Designer. He has
<br />completed projects for a variety of sites including parks, public open spaces, hotels, condominiums, marinas and resorts. Orestes’
<br />experience is concentrated in South Florida with a majority of his work within the City of Miami Beach. He regularly leads and/or
<br />coordinates with other project consultants including landscape architects, geotechnical engineers and irrigation consultants to
<br />ensure consistent site/civil design with project requirements. Orestes’ site/civil experience also includes designs for water service
<br />and distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection, paving, grading, and stormwater management designs. His stormwater
<br />management design experience includes the use of best management practices with innovative systems tailored to the specific
<br />site conditions, including high water tables and anticipated sea level rise predictions to ensure future performance.
<br />Orestes’ background in construction, allows him to provide exceptional construction administration services associated with site
<br />civil and utility projects. Orestes works side-by-side with City staff and project managers to conduct inspections and serving as a
<br />liaison between the City and the contractors to ensure the project is completed in accordance with the strict environmental
<br />conditions, design plans and specifications.
