She is the Director of Planning for CGA and provides consulting planning director services to multiple <br />municipalities. <br />PLANNING 16 15 <br />Town of Surfside Planning Department <br />Surfside, Florida <br />Lead Designer: responsible for coordinating all engineering and environmental efforts associated this 2-mile long linear multi-use trail <br />project on State- owned lands, as well as responsible for all planting and hardscape design and public outreach. Conducted one-on-one <br />meetings with over 39 condominium properties to gather support for the project, responded to residents’ concerns, and addressed <br />design restrictions set forth in the Florida Administrative Code and balance those against resident’s expectations. Responsible for <br />coordinating with all State and local permitting agencies CGA’s fees: $534,000. <br />2006 - 2020 <br />Surfside Zoning Code <br />Surfside, Florida <br />CGA prepared a form based inspired code for the entire Town, where a strong relationship was built between building heights and land <br />uses. The focus of the community was to protect the character of the 1 and 2 story residential areas. While the Town wanted a form base <br />approach, they also wanted to maintain control of more conventional zoning parameters, such as setbacks. CGA was able to develop a <br />form base code that achieved these goals while providing for the conventional controls the Town required. <br />2010 <br />Director of Development Services <br />Weston, Florida <br />Process development review applications including site plans, plats, variances, special exceptions, land use plan amendments and <br />rezoning as well as managing the Planning and Zoning Department.
