In addition, Mr. Jurado prepared paving, grading and drainage plans to depict proper stormwater conveyance and retention as per the proposed improvements. The utility coordination for this project was very rigorous since many of the bus stops were located within high dense urban areas with reduced right-of-way space. b. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) FDOT Minor Highway Transit Enhancements, Broward County, FL (2) YEAR COMPLETED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2010 CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2013 (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE [ X ] Check if project performed with current firm Project included design services, permitting and construction management services for the improvement at 73 locations along FDOT right-of-way in Broward County, FL. This Design-Build Project included the enhancement of transit facilities, including ADA improvements, utility coordination, civil design, permitting and construction inspections. This project also included the design of custom made state of the art bus shelter facilities to replace exiting or be added at these locations. Mr. Jurado was responsible for presenting a work program to ensure completion within the expected Client’s schedule, project team coordination and rigorous quality control. The project total cost was $2.5 Million. c. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) FLL Westside Watermain Loop, Broward County Aviation Department, Broward County, FL (2) YEAR COMPLETED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2018 CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2020 (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE [ X ] Check if project performed with current firm This water main project was following the Water System Master Plan and was designed by Mr. Jurado as Engineer of Record. Project included the design, permit and Engineering support for the construction of those improvements that this area of the airport requires; consistent with the Water System Master Plan. Design included over 5,000 LF of 16 and 12-inch diameter DIP water mains, with taps, air release valves, pavement restoration including airside concrete apron restoration and all the required coordination. Mr. Jurado also led and supervised engineering during construction services including the preparation of record drawings and final project certification and closeout. d. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) Pembroke Pines City Hall and Civic Center, City of Pembroke Pines, FL (2) YEAR COMPLETED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2015 CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2019 (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE [ X ] Check if project performed with current firm Mr. Jurado was Civil Engineer and prepared engineering drawings for this 115 Acre project development in the City of Pembroke Pines. Project delivered the City Center a mixture of residential, commercial and office facilities. The site is located within one of the busiest corridors within Broward County. The Pembroke Pines City Hall and Civic Center is currently under construction and will be located in the middle of the City Center with access to all the facilities. The site, located on 10-acres will provided the community with a City Hall and Civic Center Building, and Commission Chambers Building for public meetings and an Art Gallery Building. Construction Cost: $60M. e. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) Taylor Lane Roadway Improvements, Dania Beach, FL (2) YEAR COMPLETED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2014 CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) 2016 (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE [ X ] Check if project performed with current firm Mr. Jurado was the Engineer of Record for this project to provide design, permitting and engineering services during construction for the development of a drainage system to help alleviate flooding of this city roadway from stormwater run-off. The project was designed by PDS and permits were obtained from the local governmental agencies. Mr. Jurado’s design included the development of drainage improvements within the roadway and the development of a dry retention area to collect the stormwater run-off from the roadway. PDS was involved in the contractor selection, overseeing the preparation of the contract and ultimate completion of the improvements. 52
