Ross Engineering, Inc. 17670 NW 78th Avenue, Suite 214, Miami, FL 33015 <br />MIAMI DADE WATER & SEWER DEPT <br />ISD Project No. E15-WASD-03A; Agreement No. 17REI001 <br />Engineering Design and Related Services for the Design of Small <br />Diamater Water and Wastewater Pipelines for the Water and Sewer’s <br />Department’s Wastewater and Water Collection, Transmission and <br />Distribution System <br />Task Work Authorization No. 2 <br />Engineering Services for Installation of 1,800 LF OF 8-INCH DI WM TO <br />REPLACE 3-INCH - 4-INCH SHALLOW PIPELINE WITH HISTORY OF <br />MULTIPLE FAILURES ALONG ALHAMBRA CIR BETWEEN SW 42 AVE <br />AND SEGOVIA CIR, JUST BEFORE CASILLA ST., PCTS No. 15739 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />WASD has requested the installation of an 8-inch DIP water main +/- 1,800 LF along <br />Alhambra Circle between SW 42 AVE and Segovia Ave. Please refer to Attachment A for <br />Project Area. <br />Ross Engineering Inc. is pleased to submit this fee proposal to include Professional <br />surveying, engineering design, dry run submittals/approvals, obtaining construction permits <br />from the City of Coral Gables, and limited construction support services. Certification of the <br />8-inch water main can be provided with Ross inspectors participating in key inspections <br />including pressure during tap and any unforeseen conflicts. WASD Construction Department <br />and its inspectors will provide necessary day to day inspections. WASD will provide <br />geotechnical engineering soil testing. <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />WASD requires professional surveying and professional engineering services to design +/- <br />1,800 LF of 8-Inch DIP WM Alhambra Circle between SW 42 AVE and Segovia Ave. <br />Work Order # 2 “Installation of an 8-inch DIP water main +/- 1,800 LF along Alhambra Circle <br />between SW 42 AVE and Segovia Ave. This scope has been divided into 4 tasks as shown <br />in the table below: <br />Page 89
