City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ No. 20-07-01 | Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br />Preparation of Final Plans/Deliverables: CGA will meet <br />with representatives of the City to receive their comments <br />on the 90% plans submittal. Following the meeting, CGA will <br />prepare a written response to comments, make appropriate <br />revisions and complete the preparation of the deliverables as <br />defined by each task order to include: <br />• Technical specifications; <br />• Bidding documents; and <br />• Final construction plans in accordance with the City <br />standards. <br />These plans, specifications, and bid documents can be used <br />for the solicitation of competitive bids for the construction. <br />Bidding / Award / Notice to Proceed: When the scope of <br />work requires a competitive bid process, the CGA Team will <br />assist the City with the bid management process to include: <br />• Advertisement; <br />• Pre-bid meeting; <br />• Response to bidders questions; <br />• Preparation and issuance of addenda; <br />• Evaluation of bids; and <br />• Preparation of a recommendation of award for the <br />construction contract. <br />Construction Administration/Engineering Services During <br />Construction: CGA will provide the necessary support to <br />provide construction administration services to respond <br />to RFIs and review shop drawings. We will undertake the <br />required field inspections, contract administration, project <br />certification and project coordination. We are committed to <br />provide expert field inspection services such as: <br />• Contract negotiation <br />• Implementing quality control and assurance <br />programs <br />• Contract document review <br />• Shop drawing review <br />• Administration of contractor RFIs <br />• Observation of field activity to assure construction <br />is completed in accordance with construction <br />documents <br />• Payment request recommendation, change order <br />administration <br />• Environmental and NPDES monitoring <br />• Field report and documentation <br />• As-built record drawing preparation <br />• Agency/permit closeout documentation and <br />certification <br />Task Order Closeout: Once all tasks have been completed, <br />the Project Manager will work with the City’s representative to <br />close out the task order, including the punch list process, and <br />closing out all required grant applications and open permits. <br />10
