The <br />project includes the construction of a new pumping station with two (2)- 350 HP pumps and an automated trash rack, storm water force <br />mains, seventeen (17) injection wells, a control structure consisting of four (4) flap gates and one sluice gate, an 800 kW generator, an <br />intelligent controls and monitoring system and landscaping enhancements in areas affected by construction This project is funded by <br />FEMA HMGP grant funds. Construction Cost: $9.6 million, Firm Fees: $782,395. <br />2014 - Ongoing <br />Dania Casino and Jai-Alai Off-site Water Main Upgrades <br />Dania Beach, Florida <br />Senior Project Manager for design for the onsite and offsite improvements required to upgrade the existing Jai-alai facility to accommodate <br />a casino. As part of the developer’s requirement with the City and the demand of the upgraded facility, new water distribution lines <br />surrounding the site area were required to be installed. Design and permitting for 1570 LF of 8” pipeline, 1270 LF of 12” pipeline, new <br />fire hydrants both onsite and offsite, and multiple new service and irrigation connections for the project site. City, Health Department <br />and FDOT permitting and certifications were required for the new water main. Client Reference: F3 Architecture, Joaquin Gerlero. Water <br />owner/supplier: City of Dania Beach <br />2013 - 2016 2016 <br />Windmill Park <br />Coconut Creek, Florida <br />Senior Project Manager for the design of a 14 acre redevelopment to an existing park. Subconsultant to the architect for the site design <br />modifications including ADA sidewalks, exercise stations, a new parking lot and parking lot improvements, pavement marking and <br />signage, stormwater management, grading, stormwater pollution prevention, and utilities modifications to accommodate a reconstructed <br />office building and dog park. <br />2015 - 2017 2018 <br />Dania Cove Park improvements <br />Dania Beach, Florida <br />Project manager for the design and installation of park improvements including a pedestrian pathway, 2 picnic pavilions, benches, <br />picnic tables, educational and entrance signage, and trash receptacles for Dania Cove, aka Fuzzy Bunny Park, in Dania Beach. The city <br />needed design, permitting and construction completed in 13 months in order to meet the deadline for two separate grants funding the <br />project. The project also included shoreline restoration using sheet pile wall, environmental and stormwater permitting, site grading, <br />grant administration, and landscaping improvements.
