This included <br />assessing the existing trees, providing a tree preservation plan, and then working with the existing trees and landscaping to prepare a new <br />planting design that would effectively screen the new lift station and blend it into the look and aesthetic of the community. <br />2016 - 2018 2018 <br />Natalie’s cove/Flamingo Gardens - Drainage improvements <br />Cooper City, Florida <br />Project Landscape Architect: Team member responsible for inventorying all the existing trees within the project limits and preparing root <br />management plans, construction drawings, and bid specifications for the preservation of those trees. This included overseeing all root <br />pruning and tree canopy pruning activities before and during construction. The design also included the installation of new littoral shelf <br />plantings around the portions of the lake that were excavated to increase the drainage capacity for the surrounding neighborhoods. <br />2018 - 2019 2019 <br />city Arborist / Urban Forester <br />Cooper City, Florida <br />Served as the City’s Landscape Architect and City Arborist for ten years and supervised the development and expansion of the City’s <br />Urban Forestry Program. Secured numerous Urban & Community Forestry Grants to conduct a tree inventory and prepare an Urban <br />Forestry Master Plan for the City, as well as several tree planting projects and public information seminars to educate the residents on the <br />City’s Urban Forestry Program. The tree inventory included over 15,000 trees utilizing a software program from ACRT, Inc. and resulted <br />in the development of a Work Order program for scheduling and tracking tree pruning activities. <br />1990 - 2000 <br />72
