The trail included new L.E.D. site lighting, fitness equipment, and <br />benches. A custom-designed way-finding signage program was developed for all of the trailheads signs, directional signs, and mileage <br />markers. The design of the trail was carefully laid out so as to not disturb the hundreds of existing like oak trees on the site. The new trial <br />was connected to an existing trial 3/4 mile away through neighborhood signage. <br />2012 2014 <br />capital improvement Program (ciP) - implementation <br />Weston, Florida <br />Landscape Architect - Contributing team member with City staff responsible for the development and implementation of the City’s 5 and <br />10 Year CIPs, with an emphasis on the Parks and Recreation components, as well as the Roadway and Landscaping improvements. <br />Designed and assisted with the construction of several municipal buildings, new and existing parks, City-wide tree inventory, streetscape <br />designs, and traffic signage program. <br />2004 2015 <br />Memorial Regional hospital - 35th Avenue Streetscape <br />Hollywood, Florida <br />Lead Designer - Responsible for the construction detailing of hardscape components and planting for a streetscape design and wayfinding <br />for a re-dedicated roadway segment to the hospital campus as part of this LEED-Gold project. <br />2011 2012 <br />Pines Boulevard - Beautification Grants - Phase i and ii <br />Pembroke Pines, Florida <br />Project Manager, Lead Designer – Prepared detailed construction drawings and specifications for the landscape and irrigation <br />improvements on two segments of Pines Boulevard east of the Florida Turnpike in Pembroke Pines. This included implementing two <br />Florida Highway Beautification Council grants and obtaining all approvals of the plans from FDOT. In addition, a Design Variance was <br />obtained for the preservation of several existing large Royal Palms located in the medians. <br />2014 2017 <br />75
