Phase II ESAs were recommended from several of the properties. GBTS performed or oversaw the environmental due diligence associated with new developments including Phase I <br />and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos surveys and lead -based paint surveys. In addition, we provide peer review of other <br />consultant’s work product and render Marriott a professional opinion on the findings and recommendations in these reports. <br /> <br />Upon completion of the due diligence assessment and/or peer review process, GBTS provides consulting to Marriott’s developers and <br />legal counsel on the relevance of the environmental findings as they relate to acquisition and site construction plans. GBTS often is <br />required to develop conceptual remedial strategies and cleanup/rehabilitation budgets for use in negotiations on acquisition and <br />development costs. When soil and groun dwater impacts are documented, GBTS serves as liaison to local regulatory agencies, and advises <br />on regulatory notification and compliance requirements. GBTS <br />also provided limited asbestos surveys on a few assets as required by the FDIC Guidelines. To date, GBTS has completed over 860 <br />Environmental Checklists and over 100 Phase I ESAs for FDIC receivership properties. <br /> <br />Cost: $ 57,375 Size: Approx. 860 Checklists/Various Locations
