<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RFQ# 18-05-24 Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services: Construction Testing and Inspections <br />RFQ# 20-70-01 <br />Continuing Professional Consulting Services <br /> <br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE, continued <br />Light Poles-Various Locations, Broward County, Florida. Mr. Peralta was the Geotechnical Engineer for the safety improvement project that consists of seven light poles at various locations throughout Broward County. The purpose of the study was to provide Geotechnical input to the design team to assist in evaluation of the merits of the potential pole structure installations. Provided Geotechnical Service Report which included engineering evaluations and recommendations for Light Poles Embedment (Drilled Shaft) design and Foundation Construction for Drilled Shaft. <br />Pump Station Improvements at C-1, C-2 and A-16, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Peralta was the Geotechnical Engineer for the Geotechnical Engineering Study for the Improvements at Pump Stations C-1, C-2 and A-16 in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The improvements include the replacement of pump stations C-1 (located on Riverland Road and Okeechobee Lane) and C-2 (located on SW 37th Terrace- North of SW 19th Street) with an upgrade to A-16 (located on SE 4th Avenue from SE 7th Street to SE 11th Street). Provided geotechnical engineering report that briefly outlined the testing procedures performed, presented available project information, described site and subsurface conditions, and presented geotechnical evaluations and recommendations regarding Site Preparation; Foundation design and construction; Excavations; Trench Backfill; Lateral Earth Pressures; and Directional Drill Excavation Considerations. <br />Bill Keith Preserve Park- Protection Shoal, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Peralta was the Geotechnical Engineer for the Geotechnical Engineering Services for the new seawall at Bill Keith Preserve in Fort Lauderdale. The purpose of the study was to provide Geotechnical input to the design team to assist in the foundation design and pavement subgrade design. Provided Geotechnical Engineering Services Report that outlined the field exploratory test data obtained during the geotechnical study, presented available project information, described the site and subsurface conditions, and presented recommendations for foundation design and construction. <br />Taxiway Hotel and Quebec Modifications, Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, Broward County, <br />Florida. Mr. Peralta was the Geotechnical Engineer for the project which includes the modification/ new intersections at Taxiway Hotel and Quebec between Taxiway Alpha and Echo within the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport in Broward County, Florida. Additionally, the pavement along Taxiway Echo will be milled and resurfaced. Prepared geotechnical engineering service report that provided the field exploratory test data obtained during the geotechnical study, project information, and engineering evaluations of the site and subsurface conditions with respect to the planned Taxiway Hotel and Quebec modifications and the rehabilitation along Taxiway Echo. <br />Storage Building and Drainage improvement – 6001 Hawkins Rd, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mr. Peralta was the Geotechnical Engineer for the Geotechnical Engineering Study for the project which included the construction of a 1-2 story Storage building to be constructed at 6001 Hawkins Rd. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida along with associated drainage improvements. The purpose of the study was to explore the subsurface conditions at the site to enable an evaluation of acceptable foundation and pavement systems for the proposed construction. Provided geotechnical engineering report that outlined the testing procedures performed, presented available project information, described the site and subsurface conditions, and presented geotechnical recommendations regarding foundation design; Foundation soil preparation requirements; Foundation types, depths, allowable bearing capacities, and an estimate of potential settlement; Pavement Subgrade Design; general site development; and Comments regarding factors that may impact construction and performance of the proposed construction. <br />101
