<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RFQ# 18-05-24 Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services: Construction Testing and Inspections <br />RFQ# 20-70-01 <br />Continuing Professional Consulting Services <br /> System. Soil samples were tested in the laboratory to establish the soil properties and confirm the visual classification. The laboratory testing included grain size analysis, moisture content tests and organic content tests. Provided a Roadway Soil Survey Report for the project which included geotechnical evaluations and recommendations regarding permanent cut and fill slopes, excavations, groundwater control, pavement design considerations, and on-site suitability. Completed on time <br />and within budget in 2020 SW 328 Street from US-1 to SW 162 Ave., Miami-Dade County, Florida. TSF is currently providing Construction Material Testing Services for SW 328th Street form US-1 to SW 162nd Avenue in Miami, Florida. TSF services included laboratory testing, soils and reporting. Sampling and Laboratory Testing includes modified proctor testing, LBR testing, sieve analysis and sample pick-ups. TSF technicians provide in-place density testing and compressive strength testing; conducted slump and temperature testing on concrete. A TSF Senior Engineer is providing review of daily reports, coordination, and attended meetings as necessary. The project is currently on-going <br /> Roadway Reconstruction NE 3rd Ave. From NE 54th St. To NE 58th Terr., Miami, Florida. Performed geotechnical data collection for the NE 3rd Ave. Roadway Reconstruction from NE 54th St. To NE 58th Terr. in Miami, Florida. The purpose of the geotechnical data report is to provide general information on the subsurface conditions at the project site. Field work included auger borings along NE 3rd Avenue, including pavement cores; and BHP test to determine the hydraulic conductivity of the subsoils for drainage improvements. Preformed Limerock Bering Ratio (LBR) test for subgrade. Provided Geotechnical Data Report. Completed on time and within budget in 2017 <br /> I-95 Express Lanes in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties (Design-Build) <br />from the Golden Glades to Broward Blvd., Broward and Miami-Dade <br />Counties, Florida. The project included the extension of the High Occupancy Toll Express lanes from northern Miami-Dade County north 13 miles to Fort Lauderdale. The project included installing Intelligent Transportation System components; modifying the Ives Dairy Road interchange; bridge widening at specific locations and installing new noise barrier walls at locations between Hollywood Boulevard and Taft Street. TSF performed geotechnical study for roadway widening, bridge widening, overhead signs, MSE walls, toll equipment gallantries and buildings. During construction TSF provided pile driving inspection and foundation certification. Completed on time and <br />within budget in 2014 HEFT All Electronic Toll (AET) Phase 4, Miami-Dade County, Florida: The South Florida AET Phase 4 project was to install AET equipment facilities at various locations along Florida’s Turnpike in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. The locations included Golden Glades Mainline Plaza and Dolphin Center Ramps in Miami-Dade County, and Hollywood Boulevard and Griffin Road Interchange Ramps in Broward County. Construction included toll equipment structures, toll equipment buildings; cast-in-place retaining walls, MSE wall, temporary sheet pile wall, noise barrier wall, overhead sign structures, traffic signal mast arms, roadway widening, access driveways at the toll equipment building locations, and drainage improvements. The construction also included a new SB-WB exit ramp at Hollywood Boulevard. TSF provided geotechnical engineering services for this project. Geotech study included review of USDA soil maps and USGS maps, field investigation which consisted of roadway auger borings, SPT borings for structures and percolation tests for ponds and drainage improvements, soil classification and laboratory testing. TSF provided geotechnical evaluations and recommendations for roadway widening, pavement design, drainage improvements, MSE walls, retaining walls, noise wall foundations, overhead sign foundations and mast arms. Construction was carried out in two phases. Completed on time and within budget in 2014 <br /> <br />23
