Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist of the Geotechnical Engineering Services for the Dolphin Stadium Ultimate AET, located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The project is to convert the Dolphin Stadium Interchange to a full AET and included widening / reconstruction and milling and resurfacing of ramps and removal of concrete pavement. Construction also includes toll equipment structures, toll equipment building and ITS (CCTV) Pole. The geotechnical study was performed to obtain subsurface information to assist in the design and preparation of construction plans. Provided a roadway soil survey report which included geotechnical evaluations and recommendations regarding Roadway (ramp) widening, pond excavations, permanent cut and fill slopes, excavations, groundwater control, on-site suitability, resilient modulus test, and monitor of existing structures. Additionally, provided a geotechnical engineering report which summarized the field and laboratory data generated, the subsurface conditions encountered and geotechnical recommendations for the design of Toll Equipment Structures, Toll Equipment Building, and ITS (CCTV) Pole along with construction considerations.

I-75 Express Lanes Segment A/B from NW 170th Street to South of Miramar Parkway, Broward &
Miami-Dade Counties, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist for the geotechnical engineering study for the design and construction of Segments A&B of the I-75 Express Lanes Project which extend from just north of NW 170th St. in Miami-Dade County at MP 3.485 to approx. 2,400 ft. south of Miramar Pkwy in Broward County at MP 1.080, for 3.1 miles. The project also includes reconstruction, widening, and milling and resurfacing of the HEFT mainline from 1.45 miles south to 1.13 miles north of I-75 to accommodate the Express Lanes Median to Median Direct Connect between I-75 and the HEFT, as well as other interchange ramp connections. This corridor includes fourteen (14) bridge structures, several associated MSE Walls, about 20,000 linear feet of sound walls, Toll Gantries, CCTV poles, High Mast Light Poles, and Overhead Sign Structures. Provided pile design for bridges, and design parameters for sound walls, poles, and sign structures. Currently providing pile driving inspections and auger cast pile inspections for sound walls, and foundation certifications for bridges and sound walls.

I-95 Express Lanes from the Golden Glades in Miami-Dade County to Broward Boulevard in Broward
County, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist for the geotechnical engineering study for the extension of the High Occupancy Toll Express lanes from northern Miami-Dade County north 13 miles to Fort Lauderdale. The project included installing Intelligent Transportation System components; modifying the Ives Dairy Rd interchange; bridge widening at specific locations and installing new noise barrier walls at locations between Hollywood Blvd. and Taft St. Performed geotechnical study for roadway widening, bridge widening, overhead signs, MSE walls, toll equipment gantries and buildings. During construction, provided pile driving inspection and foundation certification.
SFRTA 79th Street Metrorail Connector, Miami-Dade County, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist for the Geotechnical Engineering Services for the project, which included a platform and canopy for Metrorail connector at 79th Street. Provided geotechnical recommendations regarding supporting the platform on shallow foundations, necessary site preparations, footing bearing pressure/design, expected settlement, floor slab design, and a subgrade moisture barrier to prevent moisture intrusion.
MIC - Earlington Heights Metrorail Connector, Miami-Dade Transit, Miami-Dade County, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist for the geotechnical services for the MIC-Earlington Heights Metrorail Connector in Miami-Dade County. The project included the construction of the extension of the Metrorail from MIC to Earlington Heights Station and the guideway structure was supported on deep foundation system (drilled shafts & auger cast piles). As a geotechnical consultant for the Contractor, reviewed shaft and pile installation data, load test results, pile/shaft integrity test results and performed capacity evaluation for those shafts and piles that did not meet the design requirements and provided recommendations for the foundation redesign.
97
