His experience includes soil investigation, foundation designs, piling works, ground improvement works, slope stability analysis, MSE walls and earth works. He has also authored several research publications. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />Gateway Park Pedestrian Bridge, City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist of the Geotechnical Engineering Services for the Gateway Park Pedestrian Bridge located in The City of Sunny Isles, Florida. The project consists of the construction of a new pedestrian bridge over State Road No. 826 Westbound. The purpose of this study was to explore the subsurface conditions within or in close proximity to the pedestrian bridge to enable an evaluation of foundations for the construction. TSF’s geotechnical field study included SPT borings. Provided a geotechnical engineering report including geotechnical evaluations and recommendations regarding foundation, bridge, pile monitoring and construction considerations regarding excavations. <br /> SR-997 (Krome Avenue) from SR-94/Kendall Drive to SR-90/SW 8 Street, Miami- <br />Dade County, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist of the Geotechnical Engineering Services for the realignment of Krome Avenue from SR 94 (Kendall Drive) to SR 90 (Tamiami Trail) in Miami, Florida and is approximately 5 miles long. The improvements included the realignment of the existing roadway. Utilities, including a 30-inch force main and water main, which were to remain in place, were factored into geotechnical recommendations and proposed options. Geotechnical recommendations included the discussion of various options such as surcharge, reinforced soil platform, geo-synthetic, demucking and soil mixing. TSF also provided geotechnical recommendations involving permanent cut/fill slopes, excavations, groundwater control, pavement design, and on-site soil suitability. TSF provided construction support services including evaluation of surcharge settlement. HEFT AET Phases 1 and 2, Miami-Dade County, Florida | Design-Build. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist for the Geotechnical Engineering Study for AET toll systems on Homestead extension Florida’s Turnpike (HEFT) from milepost 0 to milepost 27 and the study included toll equipment gantries, toll equipment buildings, overhead sign structures, auxiliary lanes and ramp improvements, retaining walls, drainage improvements. Additionally, performed inspection services during pile and shaft installations and provided foundation certifications. <br /> <br />SW 57th Avenue Widening from SW 24th Street to SW 40th Street, Miami-Dade <br />County, Florida. Dr. Manoharan was the Senior Specialist for the RRR improvement project which also included roadway widening to provide paved shoulders to SW 57th Avenue from SW 24th Street (Coral Way) to SW 40th Street in Miami-Dade County, Florida. <br />96
