The project included a connection to an existing 6" water main at the <br />intersection of Madrid Drive and Holly Lane and approximately 200 linear feet of 1 O" HOPE horizontal directional <br />drill under the south right-of-way line of US 98 at the intersection of Revson Avenue. Total design cost was <br />$12,450 and total construction cost was $76,238. <br />e. {1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) (2)YEAR COMPLETED <br />Moore Haven Water System Improvements Phase 1 PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION (if Moore Haven, Florida SERVICES applicable) <br />2008 2012 <br />(3)BRIEF DESCRIPTION (scope, size, cost, etc.) and SPECIFIC ROLE X Check if project performed with current firm <br />Project Manager: Planning, design, computer modeling, permitting and construction management of this project. <br />The City of Moore Haven Phase I Water Treatment Plant Expansion was designed to allow an increase in plant <br />productivity of an additional 0.50 MGD and to provide service to the proposed industrial park at US 27 and SR 78. <br />Scope of work included a 500,000 GPO water treatment ultra filtration (Zenon) plant, a 300,000 gallon ground <br />storage tank with booster pump station and re-chlorination facility, approximately 3.5 miles of 12-inch distri bution <br />main, and two high service pumps connecting the existing downtown storage tank to the water tank site. The <br />project was fully funded by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). The design costs for the project were <br />$325,000 with a total construction cost of $3,543,031. <br />f. Total design costs for the project were $516,000. Total construction costs were $2,580,000.
