43 <br />MARK CASTANO, PE <br />Page 2 <br />Engineering Inspired Design. <br />construction work and lake dredge operation, administer contract and review / negotiate contract modifications, Client and contractor liaison services, coordinate construction activities and schedule with contractor personnel and CEI and preparation and processing of close-out documents and permits and expert witness testimony involving construction performance of contractor. <br />Fire Station No. 1, Plantation, FL: The facility is a 1.3-acre existing City of Plantation Fire Station. Mr. Castano is the <br />project manager on this project which consists of replacing the existing Fire Station with a new Fire Station while <br />also providing for a temporary facility while construction of the new facility is complete. KEITH provided surveying, <br />subsurface utility engineering (SUE), engineering design, landscape design, permitting, utility coordination, and <br />construction administration services; which included some off-site roadway, drainage and utilities improvements. <br />Tradewinds Park, Coconut Creek, FL: KEITH was responsible for providing complete civil engineering design, permitting, construction inspection and certification services for the redevelopment of the existing park facilities including the relocation of the baseball fields and concession area, soccer fields, seating area, proposed pavilion for Broward County Parks and Recreation. The scope of work included water distribution, sanitary sewer, drainage, grading, pavement marking and signage, surface water pollution prevention and ADA compliance design, plans and permits. Since the water and sewer services within the park are provided by the City of Coconut Creek, KEITH performed capacity analysis for both systems to ensure they would be capable of providing acceptable service. In addition, the firm assisted Broward County Parks and Recreation Division to process water and sewer agreements with the City of Coconut Creek. <br />Quiet Waters Park, Deerfield Beach, FL: KEITH provided complete surveying, civil design, permitting and construction management services for redevelopment/improvements throughout Broward County’s Quiet Waters Park (427-acre regional park). The improvements included the complete demolition and reconstruction of the gatehouse/ticket booth facility, realignment of the main park entrance at Powerline Road, construction of a new main maintenance facility and service yard used for all Broward County Parks, new restroom building, rehabilitation of existing parking lots and sidewalks throughout the site to meet ADA criteria and drainage/water distribution/wastewater collection improvements throughout. Since most the improvements were isolated within the park and the park has a limited wastewater gravity collection infrastructure; KEITH designed and permitted several lift stations, force mains and/or septic systems throughout the park to provide sanitary sewer service to these isolated improvements. <br />Miami Dade College David W. Dyer Federal Building & Courthouse Remodel and Restoration, Miami, FL: KEITH, as a subconsultant partner to Leo A Daly, is currently providing civil engineering, surveying, subsurface utility engineering (SUE) and construction administration services for the remodel of the historic Dyer Federal Courthouse Building for education and related purposes to Miami Dade College, located at 1000 NE 1st Avenue in Downtown Miami. KEITH’s services include schematic design and design development of the water and sanitary sewer plans, Quality ‘B’ horizontal designation services, Quality ‘A’ locating services, mapping, final construction documents for water and sanitary sewer plans, permitting, bidding assistance/negotiation, construction administration services and laser scans to BIM standards. <br />City of Sunrise City Hall Municipal Campus Master Plan, Sunrise, FL: As a subconsultant to Song + Associates, KEITH is serving as the Civil Engineer for the development of the new City of Sunrise - City Hall Municipal Campus Master Plan. Mr. Castano performed engineering services to support the master planning and alternative evaluation for several site option development alternatives to present to City staff, City officials and other area stakeholders as it pertains to the water distribution, sanitary sewer collection and stormwater management systems. These evaluations included identifying the potential impacts and recommendations associated with each master plan Site Option developed by Song and Associates. <br />Stormwater and Utility Master Plan for Westgate-Belvedere CRA, West Palm Beach, FL: This public community <br />redevelopment authority is located in central Palm Beach County, contains approximately 1,200 acres and was <br />substantially developed without an acceptable storm drainage or utility system. Mr. Castano provided the project <br />management and design services for this community redevelopment program.
