<br />Mr. Mark Castano has more than 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering
<br />projects throughout South Florida. His qualifications include planning,
<br />engineering design, permitting, construction administration and project
<br />management for a variety of Civil Engineering projects. His experience
<br />includes designing and managing a wide variety of public and private land
<br />development (residential, commercial, institutional and industrial) projects. He has extensive
<br />technical knowledge in water distribution systems, stormwater management systems, sanitary
<br />sewer systems including sewer lift stations, gravity sewers and force mains, roadway design
<br />throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Mr. Castano has had numerous
<br />project management responsibilities including managing contracts, multi-disciplinary teams,
<br />municipal Capital and Engineering programs, managing and setting up bid procurement
<br />processes and preparation and monitoring project budgets.
<br />RELEVANT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
<br />City of Deerfield Beach & CRA Miscellaneous Engineering Services Contract, Deerfield Beach, FL: KEITH provides ongoing continuing serves providing as needed General Engineering and Surveying and Mapping services to the municipality on an as needed basis. Mr. Castano serves as Project Manager and is responsible for all aspects of the Engineering design. Some projects provided under these contracts include: Hillsboro Boulevard Beautification & Utility Improvement, Beach Dune Re-Nourishment Program, Ocean Way Improvement, The Cove Shopping Center Drainage & Beatification Improvement.
<br />City of Pompano Beach & CRA Miscellaneous Engineering Services Contract, Pompano Beach, FL: KEITH has served as the General Engineering Consultant for the City of Pompano Beach for over sixteen (16) years. Mr. Castano serves as Project Manager for many of the project assignments that have been in the redevelopment of roadways, parking facilities and utility infrastructure design. All service of the firm are utilized including planning, civil engineering, surveying, subsurface utility engineering and landscape architecture.
<br />City of Parkland Continuing Engineering Services Contract, Parkland, FL: KEITH has worked with the City of Parkland on designing key projects, as well as acting in an Owner’s representative capacity. Over the past several years, KEITH has completed various park projects, the Wedge Master Plan, GIS Map updates, Holmberg Road Sidewalk and Street Improvements and is currently the Prime Consultant and Owner’s Representative for the City Hall Building Department Wing Expansion.
<br />Town of Southwest Ranches, Program Management Team, Broward County, FL: Program management services for the Town’s capital improvements program including project development, project management, procurement and owner representation during construction. Representative projects included passive parks, a Town Hall facility, roads, bridges and trails.
<br />Town of Pembroke Park, Engineering Services Contract, Pembroke Park, FL: KEITH served
<br />as the General Engineering Consultant for the Town of Pembroke Park. Mr. Castano serves as
<br />Project Manager and lead contact with Town staff in the development of Town-wide Assessments
<br />and Facilities Master Plan, as well several utility infrastructure improvement projects. The firm
<br />has offered civil engineering, surveying, subsurface utility engineering and traffic engineering
<br />services to the Town.
<br />Downtown Davie, Davie, FL: Mr. Castano is providing the required construction inspection and administration for a 12 acre, light density, mixed-use residential, retail and office development including 1-acre lake excavation and construction of retaining walls. Duties include coordination and review activities and performance of CEI / project personnel, monitoring and inspection of
