<br /> <br />STAFF’S RELEVENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />◼ Mr. Ignacio Serralta was the Principal-In-Charge <br />for the FEMA/DORM Restoration Project that <br />occurred throughout Miami- Dade County. The <br />project was a jointly funded effort supported by <br />the Federal Government, the State of Florida and <br />Miami-Dade County and was intended to <br />mitigate problems that arose because of several <br />hurricanes. As Master Consultant, he oversaw <br />the construction efforts of nine contractors <br />performing work with an estimated construction <br />value of $35,000,000.00. Furthermore, he was <br />responsible for the coordination of approximately <br />twelve engineering design consultants, eight <br />geotechnical firms and nine land surveying firms <br />involved in the design of approximately four <br />hundred ninety mitigation projects. These projects ranged from drainage improvem ents to <br />total roadway reconstruction, canal dredging, culvert cleaning and canal bank restoration. <br />Finally, he was responsible for all document control related to these projects, approval of <br />payment for design, survey, geotechnical reports, and construction in accordance with <br />FEMA required guidelines. <br /> <br />◼ Mr. Serralta has also been Principal-In-Charge of several Design/Build projects, one of the <br />more recent being the re-construction of W 53rd Street from W 12th Avenue to W 16th Avenue. <br />As Principal-In-Charge, he oversaw the design, preparation of construction documents, <br />plans permitting of Miami-Dade County RER, and pre-construction phase support services <br />to the City of Hialeah. This project encompassed a new roadway of two lanes which <br />consisted of the design and preparation of construction documents for the reconstruction of <br />the roadways, the preparation of designs drawings for the construction of roadway <br />resurfacing, pavement repairs, localized drainage improvements, ADA upgrades, and <br />sidewalk repairs within the project limits. <br /> <br />◼ Mr. Fontaneau was the Senior Project Manager for the professional engineering services <br />for the Design/Build of the NE 2nd Avenue Improvements starting at NE 69th Street all the <br />way through to NE 84th Street, located in the City of Miami. Some of the elements of this <br />project included the design and planning of the roadway, the drainage, signing and <br />pavement markings, as well as the street lighting and signalization. All plans and design <br />documents required to be prepared with accordance with all applicable City of Miami <br />manuals and guidelines. Another Design/Build project Mr. Fontaneau was responsible for is <br />located on NE 2nd Avenue from NE 20th Street to NE 36th Street. A very similar project with <br />the task of design and planning of the roadway layout, drainage system, pavement <br />markings, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveways, signing and markings, in addition to any <br />necessary handicap ramps, street lighting and signalization. This project is likewise part of <br />City of Miami. <br /> <br />◼ Senior Project Manager of the Design of NW 17th Street within the areas of NW 32nd Avenue <br />and NW 37th Avenue was handled by Jean-Claude as well. The scope of his responsibilities <br />was as Sr. Project Manager for the professional engineering services required of the design <br />and preparation of the construction contract plans for the reconstruction, overbuilding, and <br />13
