Improvements encompassed the reconstruction or milling and resurfacing of existing pavements, upgrading drainage systems, new signing and pavement markings, replacing broken sidewalks, ADA ramps, and adding root barriers at existing tree locations. Different phases of the project were all executed by Mr. Fontaneau and required geotechnical reports, topographical surveying, preliminary design layouts of roadway planning, alongside improvements of roadways, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, driveways, handicap ramps, and roadway markings and signage. Typical roadway cross sections were also prepared, and the Master Plan was used to aid in modifying any other essential improvements. ◼ Design Senior Project Manager for the engineering design, preparation of construction documents, permitting and processing, along with providing bid and construction phase support services to the Town of Medley for the construction of a roadway improvement project along NW 91st Street from NW 87th Avenue to approximately 700’ west of existing roadway in front of the Waste Management Property. Work incorporated the preparation of engineer’s estimate of probable construction cost, the preliminary design plans, contracting and coordinating with the Surveyor and geotechnical test lab to obtain information required for the preliminary design and any other engineering related duties that may have presented themselves. ◼ Mr. Fontaneau has been working as the Senior Project Manager for Coral Keys Homes located in Florida City, off SW 336th Street and SW 172nd Avenue. The tasks associated with this project have been the revision of the site plan’s Stormwater Management Systems to meet RER and SFEMD requirements, in conjunction with managing the design adjustments of site elevations, fire hydrant locations, grading, parking spaces and a landscape island. Furthermore, designing the water and sewer lines of the new building, together with adding the new drainage systems between and at the rear of all the buildings. ◼ Mr. Fontaneau functioned as the Senior Project Manager for NW 7th Street Road Improvement, which included the Seawall Design of Outlet and Surrounding Structure for the City of Miami Drainage Project. The design of the project consisted of the surveying of the right of way area, repositioning of curbs, increasing swale areas and gutters, regrading gutter line to account for significant tidal intrusion, reconstruction of sidewalk, and addition of manhole to pre-existing pipe. 14
