BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, <br />size, and cost) <br /> <br />The scope of work for this project was to provide engineering design, preparation of construction documents, plans <br />processing and permitting (Town of Medley, Miami-Dade County Public Works, and Miami-Dade County Regulatory <br />and Economic Resources (RER, formerly DERM)), as well as providing construction phase support services to the <br />Town of Medley for the construction of NW South River Drive between NW 121st Way and NW 116th Way. <br /> <br />NW South River Drive project limits are from approximately 100 linear feet north of NW 116th Way to approximately <br />112’ south of NW 121st Way, approximately 2,260 linear feet. The new roadway will be a minimum of 50’ wide <br />roadway with two travel lanes, center median, gutter curb, and drainage system. Sidewalks and ADA ramps <br />provided at intersections. Furthermore, SRS aided Town Attorney and Surveyor in acquisition of any additional right <br />of way required. <br /> <br />General project management services consisted of attending additional meetings with City, management of design <br />staff and project requirements, additional site visits, and conducting quality control reviews. Revisions to project <br />drawings due to new roadway cross sections involving revisions to typical roadway sections, plan and profiles, cross <br />sections, pavement marking and signage, quantities, and other miscellaneous sheets. Preparation of new drainage <br />calculations showing interconnected drainage systems with new outfall discharges to canal. Submittal to Town for <br />review and comments.
