BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />As an Engineering Consultant to the City of Hialeah, SRS Engineering, Inc. was responsible for the project management, design and <br />preparation of construction documents for the construction of water and sewer improvements along NW 142nd Street between NW <br />97th Avenue to NW 107th Avenue, as well as along NW 107th Avenue between NW 138th Street to NW 142nd Street within the City of <br />Hialeah Annex Area. This work involved contracting and coordinating all work with subconsultant firms such as Environmental <br />Scientist, Surveyors, Geotechnical, and Electrical Engineers. The preparation and subm ittal of design calculations, applications and <br />plans for “dry-run” and “final” review by local regulatory agencies such as City of Hialeah, Fire Department, RER (DERM), and Health <br />Department, which all fell under our scope as well. <br /> <br />The proposed improvements consisted of the following: <br />• New 5325 LF of 16-inch Water Main by NW 142nd St. from NW 97th Avenue to NW 107th Avenue. <br />• New 1275 LF of 16-inch Water Main beside NW 107th Avenue from NW 142nd Street to NW 138th Street <br />• New 1470 LF of 8-inch Sewer Force Main alongside NW 142nd Street from NW 102nd Avenue to approximately NW 104th Avenue. <br />• New 2,702 LF of 8-inch Gravity Sewer Main along NW 142nd Street from NW 102nd Avenue to approximately NW105th <br />Avenue. <br />• New City Sewer Pump Station at NW 142nd Street and approximately NW 104th Avenue. <br /> <br />Professional Fees: $121,000 <br />Construction Costs: $2,495,000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
