<br />These projects include development of general plans and notes, design of plans and profiles,
<br />preliminary maintenance of traffic and calculations of restraint pipes.
<br />City of Hialeah-Section 26 Sewer Improvements, Regional Pump Station Project Manager that
<br />completed the drawings for the new regional pump station, consisting of a submersible pump
<br />station with 4 submersible pumping units (215 HP) with a peak capacity of 8,880 GPM (12.8 MGD)
<br />and valve chamber. The pump station site included a building housing the electrical control room
<br />and a storage area: an odor control unit, MDWASD flow meter, emergency generator, and other
<br />improvements. The project also included the design of upgrading improvements to 11 existing
<br />pump stations (Pump stations: 132, 133, 134, 135, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 142, and 144).
<br />Improvements included renewal of existing pumping units, electrical control panels and services,
<br />replacement of PS piping, hatches, telemetry systems, emergency generators with fuel tanks,
<br />valve vaults and fittings, as well as demolition of existing wet well tops and wet well refurbishment.
<br />Furthermore Mr. Jean-Claude Fontaneau’s function included the production of construction
<br />drawings for approximately 15,600 LF of sewer force main pipelines (8-inch to 30-inch diameter),
<br />8,226 LF of 48-inch, and 3,999 LF of 36-inch transmission sewer force main pipelines, that included
<br />a 48-inch pipe canal crossing.
<br />Homestead, Florida- Homestead Air Force Base, Pump Station No. 934 Project Manager
<br />managing the development of construction documents for the upgrading of PS No. 934 up to
<br />MDWASD standards. Designing of construction documents, demolition drawings, structural
<br />details, new electrical controls, SCADA, and a new 12-inch force main. Duties also included
<br />obtaining permits, construction management, inspections and close out.
<br />City of Hialeah- Hialeah Transmission Force Mains, Annex Area Project Manager, who’s
<br />function included the design and preparation of construction documents for the construction of a
<br />new transmission force main. The new force main was constructed from NW 87th Avenue and W
<br />80th Street to a connection point within the existing MDWASD force main, located at W 8th Avenue
<br />and W 76th Street, that would serve the newly annexed area in the City of Hialeah. This work
<br />included contracting and coordinating all work with specialty firms, such as Surveyors,
<br />Geotechnical, and Structural Engineers. As well as the preparation/submittal of design
<br />calculations, the applications/plans for “dry-run” and “final” review by the local regulatory agencies.
<br />City of Hialeah- Water Mains for Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant, Annex Area,
<br />Senior Project Manager supervising the preparation of civil engineering design plans and
<br />specifications for the construction of maintenance and water mains from HROWTP to serve the
<br />Annexation Area along NW 102nd Avenue and NW 170th Street. The construction documents
<br />included approximately 7,640 LF of 12-inch maintenance water mains and 7,640 LF of 12-inch,
<br />16-inch, 20-inch and 24-inch raw water mains combined.
<br />City of Miami- MDWASD Pump Stations Upgrades Senior Project Manager in charge of the
<br />design and arrangement of construction documents, plans and specifications, needed for the
<br />construction of the renovation to current pump stations. Renovations included all brand-new
<br />pumping units, electrical control panels, electrical control services, telemetry systems, wet wells,
