Marilys Falcon PROJECT ENGINEER Mrs. Marilys Falcon has over 29 years of experience in civil engineering planning and design for a wide range of public works, site development and infrastructure projects. She has been responsible for the design of roadway improvements, storm drainage systems, water and sanitary sewers transmission pipelines, as well as reservoirs, pump stations and site development projects. She has a broad familiarity with the diverse elements of public and private project design and coordination. Key Projects Hialeah Gardens, Florida- AquaBella North Project Engineer for the civil engineering design plans and specifications for the construction of an approximately 135-acre single-family and townhome residential development comprised of 948 residential units, including 191 single family homes, 300 townhouses, 212 villas, 245 apartments, and single-family homes; as well as a 22-acre lake. The project is located east of NW 97th Avenue between the NW 162th Street and NW 170th Street. SRS services included assisting in the site plan development and the civil design of all on- site roadways, paving and grading, drainage and storm water management systems, water and sewer systems, and a sewer pump station. Services also included design of off-site roadway improvements along adjacent portions of NW 97th Avenue and new roadway- NW 170th Street. Other services included contracting and coordinating all geotechnical investigations; all environmental studies including wetland mitigation reports and preparation of ERP permit. Miami, Florida- Southern Cove Project Engineer for the Southern Cove Phase I residential development. The project encompassed the preparation of site drainage calculations (10, 25 & 100 year) to meet local regulatory requirements (RER & SFWMD), which consisted of stage-storage, and the cut and fill calculations for the basin drainage. Furthermore, Mrs. Falcon managed the on-site water & sewer utility plan, the profiles, some typical notes & details; and meetings with MDWASD, the Fire Dept. and RER to obtain system requirements, points of connection, as well as allocation verification. Hialeah, Florida- Bonterra Project Engineer for the civil engineering design plans and specifications for the construction of an approximately 152-acre single-family and townhome residential development. The developmental area is made up of 1,172 residential units comprised of 487 single family homes, 118 townhouses, 253 villas, and 314 apartments; along with a 16-acre lake. Mrs. Falcon supervised the site plan development and the civil design of all the on-site roadways, the paving and grading, the drainage and storm water management systems, the water and sewer systems, and the sewer pump station. On top of designing the off-site roadway improvements along adjacent portions of NW 97th Avenue and the new roadways located at NW 146th Street and NW 154th Street. She contracted and coordinated all geotechnical investigations, as well as all environmental studies including wetland mitigation reports and preparation of ERP permit. Permitting involved all applicable regulatory agencies, such as FDOT, SFWMD, USACE, RER, MDCPWD, City of Hialeah Water and Sewer Dept., Street Dept., Fire Dept., and the Health Dept.
