<br />Hammond & Associates, Inc. is a professional Mechanical and Electrical engineers with
<br />active operations in South Florida since 1988. The fi rm specializes in the design of HVAC,
<br />Electrical, Fire Alarm, Plumbing, Fire Protection systems and construction management.
<br />In addition to the success of their extensive mechanical and electrical engineering design
<br />services, the designs of new and renovations of transit facilities projects have been a force
<br />behind the success of the fi rm.
<br />Hammond & Associates, Inc. were part of the design team for the New South Regional Transit Authority
<br />(SFRTA) project, having provided designs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and
<br />Construction Administration services. They have completed the designs of transit projects ranging in size
<br />and complexity from $100,000 to $30 million in construction costs. The fi rm’s experience in transit design
<br />allows us to focus on and be current in all facets of transit design and construction administration. As a result,
<br />we are very familiar with Transportation Safety Authority (TSA), Florida Department of Transportation
<br />(FDOT) and other applicable Federal, State. Local Codes, Regulations, Ordinances and Policies.
<br />Our design staff includes outstanding HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing designers with many years of training
<br />and experience in the design and construction administration of projects of similar scope and size.
<br />Hammond & Associates, Inc. is a member of USGBC and prides ourselves as designers of projects that
<br />require LEED certifi cation. We have LEED accredited professionals on staff and have been part of design
<br />teams that have successfully completed LEED projects, including LEED Gold and LEED Silver.
<br />Burton Hersh Architects is Established in 2008, Burton Hersh Architects,
<br />P.A. (BHA) is located at 130 Miracle Mile, Suite 200 Coral Gables, FL 33134.
<br />BHA has been at its present location for seven years and employs six full-
<br />time employees. BHA currently has three Registered Architects – one of whom is also a Registered Interior
<br />Designer – two Intern Architects with professional degrees seeking licensure, and one Offi ce Manager.
