<br />Mr. Gómez is a geotechnical engineer and adjunct professor with more than thirty-nine (39) years of varied and extensive experience
<br />in a wide range of geotechnical and civil engineering consulting services for studies, designs, project layouts and construction
<br />supervisions on hundreds of projects since 1980. His extensive and diversified geotechnical and civil engineering experience has
<br />included his active and lead participation in projects development as a field engineer, lead design engineer and resident manager (QA
<br />director). He has provided geotechnical recommendations and peer reviews for site preparation, earthwork, excavations, retaining
<br />structures, embankments, dams and levees, slope stability and foundation design for several civil engineering projects and has
<br />managed teams of engineers, geologists, specialists on other disciplines, and surveyors for the successful completion of many designs
<br />and/or construction of large civil projects and related works. These management tasks were performed both in the office during the
<br />design stage, and in the field for implementation during construction.
<br />Mr. Gómez, D.GE is a Diplomate in the Academy of Geo Professionals (AGP), an independent board certification organization that
<br />certifies the competence of geotechnical engineers in their area of specialization based on his experience and education. The
<br />Academy’s board certifications are held by small percentage of all geotechnical engineers in the United States. In addition, Mr. Gomez
<br />has published more than 40 technical papers in a variety of seminars and technical session and proceedings related to geotechnical
<br />and civil engineering projects.

<br />The proposed structure is a 47-story high (498.5 feet) residential tower (530 units total). The lower podium/garage will have an
<br />area of approximately 32,189 square feet and the tower an area of approximately 13,822 square feet. Generally, the
<br />development will consist of building/residential services and retail at the ground floor (level 01), parking garage at levels 02 to
<br />06, an amenity area and swimming pools at level 07, and a residential tower from level 08 to 45 with a roof deck and penthouse
<br />at levels 46 and 47. PSI completed a field exploration and geotechnical evaluation. The purpose of our study was to evaluate the
<br />subsurface conditions at the site and develop geotechnical engineering recommendations and guidelines for use in preparing
<br />the design and other related construction documents for the proposed project. The scope of services included drilling soil
<br />borings, performing laboratory testing, and preparing a detailed geotechnical engineering report. Role: Geotechnical Engineer
