Services performed are related to the <br />Improvement, Upgrades, and Expansions of Water, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Collection, Distribution and <br />Transmission Piping and all Related Facilities as Necessary to Ensure Quality Control/Assurance for Water and Sewer <br />Department Capital Improvement Projects. Intertek-PSI has performed on over 120 task work orders since 2016. As the largest <br />water and sewer utility in the southeastern United States, The (WASD) Multi-Year-Multi billion Capital Improvement Program <br />(CIP) is divided into 4 major components, Consent Decree, Ocean Outfall Legislation, Pump Station Plan, and Miscellaneous <br />project under regular capital improvement plan. This program provides enhance and upgrade the water and <br />sewer infrastructure by upgrading, replacing, thousands of miles of pipes, pump stations and water and wastewater treatment <br />plants. Under our continuing contract with FDOT D4, PSI completed a geotechnical <br />engineering study. The field scope of services for the project included site reconnaissance, marking the field exploration <br />locations, clearing underground utilities through a public utility location service, and conducting a subsurface exploration <br />consisting of pavement coring and Standard Penetration Test (SPT) borings/sampling.
