The lower <br />podium/garage will have an <br />area of approximately 32,189 <br />square feet and the tower an <br />area of approximately 13,822 <br />square feet. Generally, the <br />development will consist of <br />building/residential services <br />and retail at the ground floor <br />(level 01), parking garage at <br />levels 02 to 06, an amenity <br />area and swimming pools at <br />level 07, and a residential <br />tower from level 08 to 45 <br />with a roof deck and <br />penthouse at levels 46 and <br />47. <br /> <br /> <br />Anticipated Foundation Type: Augercast Piles; Design Max. Column <br />Loading: 1500 kips column loads for the parking garage and 8000 kips <br />column load for the residential tower. <br /> <br />Professional Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), an Intertek company, completed a <br />field exploration and geotechnical evaluation for the proposed 47-Story <br />Structure – Miami World Center Block A project. The purpose of our study <br />was to evaluate the subsurface conditions at the site and develop <br />geotechnical engineering recommendations and guidelines for use in <br />preparing the design and other related construction documents for the <br />proposed project. The scope of services included drilling soil borings, <br />performing laboratory testing, and preparing a detailed geotechnical <br />engineering report.
