Michael Saltzman (954) 468-0155 <br />BEA Architects provided Planning, Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Surveying Services for the design of a new cargo container yard at Port Everglades Southport. The new container yard planned and designed by BEA is part of an integrated expansion of the Port Everglades Southport Master Plan. The project was divided into two components, Component I (Phase IX-B) and Component II (Phase IX-A). <br />During the Phase IX-B, BEA provided complete Design-Build services for the Tenant Improvements Project for King Ocean. The project serves as a storage/processing yard for shipping containers, including perimeter fencing, entry gates, truck scales, paved yard, site drainage, potable water and sewer infrastructure, a sewer lift station and high mast exterior lighting. <br />BEA is currently working on Phase IX-A, which consists of the redevelopment of the existing Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) into a cargo container yard. BEA is providing complete Architectural and Engineering Services.
