Cummins Cederberg performed an <br />above and below water inspection of the entire <br />seawall to provide recommendations on the <br />remaining service life of the structure. Repairs <br />were subsequently designed, permitted and <br />constructed. <br /> <br />Bentley Bay Marina is in Miami Beach within <br />the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Preserve. Cummins <br />Cederberg performed the engineering design of <br />the marina utilizing concrete piles, and beams <br />with grated decking to allow adequate light <br />penetration to reach the submerged bottom <br />supporting seagrass habitat. <br /> <br /> <br />Vizcaya Floodwall and Wetland Restoration included the design, permitting, and construction <br />oversight of a floodwall to protect a restored historical garden from storm surge impacts and tidal flooding, <br />as well as removal of exotic vegetation and restoration of a natural wetland. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Colonial Club Condominium Seawall is a <br />1,500-foot seawall replacement of an existing <br />detorioarted structure at the end of it’s service <br />life. The Cummins Cederberg engineering dive <br />team performed a below water inspection of the <br />entire 1,500-foot project site prior to designing <br />the replacement. The new seawall consists of <br />steel sheet piles supported by square concrete <br />batter piles and a reinforced concrete cap. <br /> <br />
