<br />07/19 – 07/20: Roadway Inspector – SR 7/US 441 Pedestrian Safety Enhancement
<br />Project from NW 29th Street to N of SR 816/Oakland Park Blvd – FDOT D4 (Broward
<br />County). This project consists of constructing a pedestrian safety barrier along the existing
<br />median, constructing a ten-foot shared-use path along SR 7, minor road widening, milling
<br />and resurfacing, upgrading crosswalks, installing landscaping and irrigation in the median,
<br />and installing crosswalk curb ramps. Responsibilities included handling and coordinating
<br />construction activities with the contractor, inspection and documentation of daily activities,
<br />ensuring underground and roadway construction is completed in accordance with the
<br />specifications, ensuring compliance with approved MOT plans and ADA, updating and
<br />tracking materials for final material certification, maintain accurate back up documentation
<br />for the submittal of quantities, assisting with the preparation of final estimate package, and

<br />08/18 – 06/19: Roadway Inspector – SR 953/LeJeune Road Safety Improvement
<br />Project from SW 2nd Street to NW 11th Street – FDOT D6 (Miami-Dade County). This
<br />project included intersection improvements at Flagler Street, NW 3rd Street and NW 7th
<br />Street including minor road widening, milling and resurfacing, new pavement markings,
<br />drainage improvements, new signalization, new lighting system, detectable warning
<br />surfaces at crosswalks, extensive sidewalk and ADA ramp replacement, curb and gutter
<br />replacement, traffic separators, adjusting utility tops along roadway and sidewalks.

<br />12/17 – 08/18: Roadway Inspector – SR 90/SW 7th Street Safety Improvement Project
<br />from SW 25th Avenue to Brickell Avenue – FDOT District VI (Miami-Dade County). This
<br />project included milling and resurfacing, new pavement markings at various locations along
<br />SW 7th Street, upgrading pedestrian features including pedestrian countdown signals, detectable warning surfaces at crosswalks,
<br />extensive sidewalk and ADA ramp replacement, curb replacement, adjusting utility tops along roadway and sidewalks. Responsibilities

<br />09/17 – 12/17: Roadway Inspector – Hurricane Irma Pre-Event Natural Disaster Monitoring/Construction Engineering &
<br />Inspection – FDOT D6 (Miami-Dade County). Responsible for inspecting and documenting debris removal, repair and replacement of
<br />signs, roadway lighting, signalization and erosion control, cleaning of drainage system throughout numerous areas in Miami Dade County.
<br />Preparing daily work reports, tracking quantities as well as time and material records, reviewing invoice requisitions from the Contractors.

<br />07/15 – 08/17: Roadway Inspector/Inspector Aide – Reconstruction of SR 997/Krome Avenue from North of SW 8th
<br />Street/Tamiami Trail to MP 5.122 - FDOT D6 (Miami-Dade County). This $26.4 million project included the reconstruction 5 miles of a
<br />new 4-lane divided section with a 40-foot median and guardrail in select locations. Environmental awareness is addressed with the
<br />installations of 6’ x 22” wildlife crossings and a water-quality sensitive drainage system with more than 8,400 LF of French drain, almost
<br />9,400 LF of solid pipe, and 190 drainage structures. The Project also addressed multi-modal and safety purposes by providing 5-foot
<br />paved shoulders for the north- and southbound roadways that will be marked for bicycle use. The Project is adjacent to the Florida
<br />Everglades and required significant de-mucking for the construction of the widened section. Responsibilities same as project above.
