(RJ Behar) was contracted by the Village of Palmetto Bay to provide professional engineering services <br />for the construction of roadway improvement project and on-road dedicated bicycle lanes along SW 136th Street from US-1 to Cutler <br />Road. <br />This is a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement project between Miami -Dade County, the Village of Palmetto Bay, the Village of <br />Pine Crest and the Florida Department of Transportation. <br />The project involves roadway plans, pavement marking and signing plans, utility coordination, drainage design and, permitting. The <br />improvements will require milling and resurfacing the existing roadway and pavement widening to accommodate an on-road <br />dedicated bicycle lane. The primary challenge for this project was a ccommodating the proposed sidewalks and bicycle lanes in a <br />right of way constrained corridor. <br />Cost/Fees Paid: $193,171.00  Construction Cost: $1,700,345.00 (Estimated)  Project Length: 1.75 Miles <br />Key Personnel: Robert J.
