BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />R.J. Behar & Company, Inc. (RJ Behar) is providing Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) services, on a part-time basis as <br />requested by the Town, for contract administration, inspection, and materials sampling and testing for the Safe Routes to Schools <br />Infrastructure Improvements Project. <br /> <br />This project is receiving Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Federal Funding via the Florida Department of Transportation <br />(FOOT) LAP Program. This project is designated as an "Off the State Highway (Off-System) LAP Project. <br /> <br />RJ Behar is performing the necessary services to coordinate the activities of all parties involved in completing the Project, which <br />includes maintaining complete and accurate records of the Project; documenting all significant Project changes; assisting the Town <br />with interpreting plans, specifications, and construction contract provisions; making recommendations to the Town to resolve disputes; <br />and coordinating with FOOT for LAP requirement compliance. <br /> <br />The Resident Compliance Specialist’s duties included conducting labor interviews, performing monthly jobsite Bulletin Board <br />inspections, reviewing sublets, and subcontracts, July Reports, and review and file certified payrolls.
