FEASIBLITY REPORT COMPLETION, PRESENTATION AND DESIGN OUTLOOK WITH <br />OWNERS <br />o Design Team will complete Study and prepare a presentation of Improvement requirements <br />and optional recommendations to the Client. <br />o Design team to discuss with client if sections will close or remain open during improvements <br />in order to implement construction phases and areas to remain open for onsite animals. <br />o Client will provide a preliminary approval on all improvements throughout the site. <br /> <br />5. ENGINEERING SCHEMATIC DESIGN <br />a. Project Manager and Senior Civil Engineer of Record, will focus on all Site Layout, Site <br />Improvement Design, Utility Design, Paving and Grading Design and tying the proposed <br />project area onto the existing park areas as well as Preparation of all Related Construction <br />Plans for submittal and approval with Ownership as well as all required jurisdictional <br />agencies. <br />o A Cost Estimate Based on the Schematic Design will be prepared for the Client <br />o Coordination with City Staff, Council and Advisory Boards will occur during this process. <br /> <br />6. ENGINEERING DESIGN DEVELOPMENT <br />o Design team will provide more detailed Engineering Design Plans. <br />o A Final Cost Estimate will be prepared for the Client <br />o Coordination with Town Staff, Council and Advisory Boards will occur during this process. <br /> <br />7. ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />o Design team will finalize Engineering Design Plans to Prepare for Final Permitting Process <br />o A Cost Estimate Based on the Design Development Plans will be prepared for the Client <br />o A Project Specifications Manual will be prepared for the Client <br /> <br />8. PERMITTING PROCESS <br />o Project Manager and Team will deliver and work with all Jurisdictional Agencies to obtain all <br />necessary sub-permits and final Building Construction Permit as required to be able to <br />proceed to the Construction Process. <br /> <br />9. BIDDING PROCESS <br />o The Design Team will Prepare and/or assist the client in preparing a bid package as <br />required to obtain bids from qualified Contractors. <br />o The Design Team will conduct and/or be part of the pre-bid meetings to answer all <br />contractor’s questions and or clarifications. <br />o The Design Team will also assist the client in reviewing the Contractor’s proposals follow up <br />with references and provide a written summary and/or oral presentation of their findings to <br />assist the Client in selecting the Contractor. <br /> <br />10. CONSTRUCTION PROCESS, PROJECT CLOSEOUT, & FINAL PROJECT CERTIFICATION <br />o Once the Construction Team is selected, the Design Team will hold a Pre-Construction <br />Meeting with the Client and Construction Team to discuss Client Goals and Construction <br />Procedures specifically of importance to the Client such as: Continuing Park Operations, <br />Construction Team Parking, Noise and Dust Control, Construction Schedule, Equipment <br />Storage, Security, etc. <br />o The Engineer of Record shall review and approve payment schedules prior to the Client <br />releasing payments to the Contractor
