Based on the tree inventory, E Sciences identified and prioritized street tree planting locations throughout the <br />City. Mr. Voelker performed the GPS inventory, prepared GIS tree databases and summary reports of general tree conditions <br />and attended meetings with City staff. The assessments include health and structure evaluations, identification of utility conflicts, <br />pruning recommendations, and general risk evaluations. The resulting GPS data will be used to generate a GIS tree database <br />which the City can then be used as a tool for managing urban forest resources in this particular community. The results of this <br />analysis may then be used to develop the framework for a City-wide GIS tree database. Mr. Voelker snorkeled each site to observe the presence of regulated benthic resources (i.e. <br />seagrasses, corals, etc.). He assisted with the report needed for the permit applications. Contract Budget/Fees: $593,822 <br /> <br />d. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) Historic Vizcaya Southern Lagoon & Northern Canal Tidal Swamp Landscape Environmental Restoration Plan, Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida <br />(2) YEAR COMPLETED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2012 – 2014 CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) South Canal – 2014 <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE  Check if project performed with current firm This project involved a multi-disciplinary landscape architecture and environmental restoration plan for the waterways and tidal <br />pool within the museum’s property, which balanced ecological function with creative landscape aesthetics, recreational functions <br />and values, and improvements to water quality, and planting designs based on historic flora inventories, including mangroves, <br />native hardwood hammock and coastal scrub species. Mr. Voelker was a project scientist for this project. Project Budget/Fees: <br />$123,412 <br /> <br />e. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) Deep Dredge Environmental Monitoring, Miami-Dade County, Florida <br />(2) YEAR COMPLETED <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES 2014 – Ongoing CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) N/A <br />(3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE  Check if project performed with current firm PortMiami relocated Acropora cervicornis corals in anticipation of the proposed deep dredging project that will make the port <br />compatible with Panamax cargo ships that are anticipated to utilize the port following the widening of the Panama Canal. <br />E Sciences is providing scientific divers to monitoring the success of the relocated corals at 6, 12- and 24-months following <br />relocation. Mr. Voelker is providing scientific diving services for this project. Project Budget/Fees: $138,743 <br />
