CITY OF ISLES BEACH | 27
DPROJECT APPROACH
IA is a pioneer in the development of Virtual Reality
experiences for interiors. By allowing teams to walk through
projects long before they are built, interaction with the
proposed designs enables clients and stakeholders access
much earlier in the development process, enabling more
time for fine-tuning while also sparking more constructive
discussions and quicker decision-making.
Virtual meetings, including audio, can be held within the
design model. Notes in VR can be created on the fly and
added to the environment, which can be rolled up into
PDF reports and combined with BIM 360 Cloud, generat-
ing action items for the design team. Meaningful feedback
gathered is immediately turned into clear notifications,
ensuring a better design change management process.
Supplementing standard architectural renderings, plans,
and materials boards, VR interface—combined with 3D
reality capture scanning of site conditions at the project’s
inception—helps us create more accurate, photorealistic,
and experiential representations of our designs, capable
of conveying subtleties of finish quality and atmosphere.
IA offers two levels of immersive VR experience: 360
Rendering, where you can rotate 360-degrees from
a single spot within a rendering. An Immersive VR
enables you to walk through the space and interact with
the design in real time. Virtual Animations are pre-
recorded videos created from the Revit model to show a
walking perspective.
