4. YOUR EMPLOYMENT STATUS <br />Your employment at visualScape Inc.is "AT WILL." Employment can be terminated by either <br />party, at any time. This includes termination with or without cause, and with or without notice. <br />Any oral statements or assurances to the contrary are not binding on the employer and should <br />not be relied upon by the employee or job applicant. If you believe such assurances have been <br />made, contact the administration for confirmation in writing. The Company is not responsible <br />for, and will not stand by, any statements or assurances that are not reaffirmed in writing by an <br />officer of the Company. <br />Statements on the employment application, or in this handbook, training manuals, or other <br />Company documents, do not constitute or imply an employment contract and should not be <br />relied upon by the employee or job applicant under any circumstances as assuring continuous <br />employment or superseding the company's "AT WILL" employment policy. <br />5. INTRODUCTORY PERIOD <br />All new employees have an introductory period of 90 calendar days from the date of hire, and <br />are not eligible for paid holidays, for leave of any kind, or any other company sponsored <br />benefits until the expiration of the probationary period and/or dates of eligibility. <br />During this introductory period, you will be evaluated by your supervisor and manager as to <br />what is expected from you, with respect to your job performance. You will be carefully <br />observed to make sure your working habits, your aptitude, and the way you relate to your <br />superiors and to your fellow employees are in accordance with the policies established by the <br />company. <br />Throughout your employment, and regardless of any oral representations made to you by <br />anyone to the contrary, you serve at the will and pleasure of our Company and may be <br />discharged at any time with or without cause and with or without notice. However, for purposes <br />of the Florida Unemployment Compensation Law, we are evaluating you for the first ninety (90) <br />calendar days of your employment. You should understand that if you are discharged for <br />unsatisfactory work performance during that period of time, our Company will not have its <br />account charged for any unemployment benefits you might be eligible for in the future. <br />Completion of the introductory period does not alter your status as an employee at the will and <br />pleasure of the Company. <br />6. ORIENTATION <br />The Company offers orientation to all new hires as the introduction to their jobs, co-workers and <br />the organization by providing them with information regarding such items as benefits, policies, <br />procedures, Company history, goals, culture and work rules. Orientation will be scheduled <br />accordingly by each branch location. <br />7. PART -TIME EMPLOYEE <br />Any employee working less than 30 hours per week are "part time" <br />e <br />employees are not eligible for paid holidays, for leave of any kind, or company <br />benefits. <br />6 <br />mployees.
