15. REVIEWING YOUR PAY STATUS <br />All non-exempt employees will be eligible for an annual performance appraisal within one year <br />of their anniversary date or one year from their last wage increase, whichever is more recent. <br />Appraisals do not guarantee an automatic wage increase. Any monetary increases as a result <br />of an appraisal will be reflected in the employees pay within 45 days of the employee's annual <br />appraisal date. <br />There are no automatic salary increases for exempt employees based upon tenure, seniority, <br />special education, training or added responsibilities. All salary increases are based on merit or <br />promotion, subject to the Company's sole discretion and exclusive evaluation of an employee's <br />performance. <br />16. PERSONNEL RECORDS <br />The Company will safeguard the information contained in the each employee's personnel and <br />medical records. Further, the Company will inform an employee prior to releasing any personnel <br />information from their files except for regular reporting information required by law. Employee <br />personnel files are the property of the Company. Employees may review their personnel files by <br />making an appointment with Human Resources to do so during regular business hours. <br />Employees may not remove any portion of their personnel file from the Company premises. <br />Employees should advise Human Resources of applications for credit of verifications of <br />employment that might require the release of employment and salary information. <br />It is very important that employee records be kept on an up-to-date basis. All employees must <br />notify their manager and Human Resources within three business days of any changes that take <br />place regarding their name, marital status, address, telephone number, number of dependents, <br />person to contact in case of an emergency, work eligibility status, change of beneficiary for <br />insurance, and any other pertinent information. Any changes to marital status or number of <br />dependents will require execution of appropriate I.R.S. forms. <br />Forms are available in Human Resources to request information, make status changes, etc. (It is <br />the employee's responsibility to ascertain that changes are reported so that correct information <br />is in the personnel files). <br />Providing false or misleading information to the company in any respect is grounds for <br />immediate discharge. <br />17. PROMOTIONS <br />The Company expects to fill existing vacancies whenever possible through promotions from <br />within the organization. Employees are selected with due regard for their seniority, on the basis <br />of their ability, education, experience, and other qualifications necessary for the position. <br />Each employee is urged to develop skills in his or her present job and to learn as much as <br />possible about the Company, its operations, and its policies to be qualified for promotions when <br />the opportunity presents itself. <br />10 <br />
