04sutal&ape <br />I. STATEMENT OF POLICY <br />WORKPLACE SAFETY PROGRAM <br />Our employees are our most valuable asset. It is our policy that every person is entitled to a safe work <br />environment. <br />Implementing and maintaining a safe environment is the shared responsibility between the employer and <br />employees at all levels of the organization. To this end, every reasonable effort will be made in achieving <br />the goal of accident prevention and health preservation. <br />Our philosophy is oriented toward affirmative control and minimization of risk to the greatest extent <br />possible. We will be counting on you to do your part in making our program an effective one. <br />The success of the company will depend not only on production and sales, but also how safely each job is <br />performed. There is no job so important or any service so urgent that we can't take the time to work <br />safely. <br />The company will aggressively pursue a plan to minimize pain and suffering of an injured worker, and <br />return him/her to active work duties as soon as possible. <br />I consider the safety of our personnel to be of prime importance, and I expect your full cooperation in <br />malting our program effective. <br />Ivan C. Vila, President <br />II. INTRODUCTION <br />Visualscape Inc., is a company committed to providing a safe work environment for all employees, in all <br />activities, and at all times. Our commitment is based on the principle that personal injuries and <br />professional illnesses can be prevented; therefore, with this goal in mind we have developed and <br />implemented this Safety Program in the Workplace. <br />Each employee must do his or her daily task prioritizing on the job safety. An awareness of safety must be <br />foremost at all times, with all employees, by complying with the contents of this Safety Program. Each <br />employee will be given a copy of the manual and will sign a document stating that he or she agrees to <br />abide by its contents. <br />Supervisors and foremen will have a copy of the manual on hand and will use it as a guide to apply safety <br />practices. The cooperation of all our employees is of vital importance, if we are to achieve our goal of <br />creating an accident -free workplace for which it is imperative that the following rules, regulations and <br />procedures be strictly adhered to: <br />
