Employees must not report for duty under the influence of any drug/alcohol that may in any <br />way adversely affect their working ability, alertness, coordination, response or adversely affect <br />the safety of others on the job. <br />For purposes of this program, influence shall be presumed for any individual whose drug or <br />alcohol level exceeds applicable testing levels. <br />Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service shall not allow employees who are found to be using <br />alcohol or drugs illegally to remain on the project. Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service will <br />determine when the employee in violation can return to the project or be permanently <br />removed. <br />Legally prescribed drugs may be permitted on premises or work locations, provided the drugs <br />are contained in the original prescription container and are prescribed by an authorized <br />medical practitioner for the current use of the person in possession. Legally prescribed drugs <br />must not affect working ability, alertness, coordination or response of the person taking the <br />medication. <br />The Acknowledgment <br />of Safety Policy on Drugs, Alcohol and <br />Other Prohibited <br />Items form will <br />be completed by each Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service employee <br />on orientation. <br />Acknowledgement of <br />the policy is not an endorsement of <br />pre-employment <br />drug screening. <br />Superior Landscaping <br />and Lawn Service will conduct post -accident <br />and for <br />cause drug and <br />alcohol screening. <br />Tra Hing <br />Orientation training will be performed by Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service. Re-training <br />will be conducted for any employee who does not demonstrate a complete understanding of <br />the rules. Weekly safety meetings will be held to keep the employees well informed on the <br />project's inherent hazards as well as some unique ones. Every effort will be made to properly <br />inform employees of their role in the jobsite safety program. <br />Training may be conducted in a formal setting or through documented safety meetings and <br />safetY breaks. <br />Progressive Disciplinary Policy <br />Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service believes in the safety of their employees and trade <br />contractor employees, subcontractors, vendors and other visitors on the jobsite. In that <br />capacity, everyone's voluntary compliance with this safety program is solicited for their own <br />safety, for the safety of other employees and trade contractor employees, guests, the general <br />public, customers, and for the good of the Company.
