18. After an inspection is completed, the CSHO will conduct a closing conference. Superior <br />Landscaping and Lawn Service will not admit to any violations or even if a condition may <br />exist. Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service should ask the CSHO why he/she thinks a <br />violation exists. <br />19. If the CSHO asks how much time Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service will need for <br />abatement, they are looking for an admission of a violation. If Superior Landscaping and <br />Lawn Service does not think a violation exists, then do not answer. An arbitrary date <br />will be assigned by OSHA which can be extended during the contesting of the citation. <br />In The Event of an Injury <br />Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service intentions are to provide a safe working environment to <br />all of its personnel. However if an injury should occur, proper accident reporting and <br />investigative procedures must be activated. The following is the general policy of accident <br />reporting and investigative procedures of Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service: <br />1. Employees shall immediately report all injuries, sustained while on duty, immediately to <br />the field site manager. <br />2. The field site manager shall be responsible for seeing that injured employees receive <br />immediate medical attention and the details of the incident are reported. <br />3. Immediately following an injury, the field site manager shall: <br />a. Arrange for immediate medical attention and proper transportation to the place <br />of treatment. <br />b. Completely fill out the incident report form. The incident report form must be <br />submitted within 24 hours. <br />c. Start the investigative process to prevent recurrence of the same accident. <br />a. When a field site manager is aware of lost time (disabling injury) accident, he/she shall <br />immediately report the injury to the Superior Landscaping and Lawn Service <br />Superintendent. <br />Incident Investigation <br />All incidents will be investigated and reported. The following will be reported upon in detail: <br />1. Injuries <br />2. Near misses <br />3. Property damage <br />4. Violence <br />Each report will attempt to identify the root cause; each incident will be communicated <br />thoroughly to all parties related to the project to make every effort possible to avoid a similar <br />incident of repeating. <br />14 <br />
