CTA Project No. 19-0035-001-01 16500-7 Golden Shores Street Lighting <br />October 12, 2020 SIB Bid No. 20-09-01 <br />H. CONTRACTOR shall support each Luminaire securely. Each Luminaire shall be secured <br />to the building structure. CONTRACTOR shall not secure Luminaires to the work of <br />other trades, unless specified or noted otherwise, and shall not support Luminaires from <br />plaster. CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install all poles, foundations, and supports as <br />required to fasten and suspen d Luminaires. <br />I. CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install time switches and photocells as specified herein <br />or indicated on the drawings. Time switches shall be provided with a manual bypass <br />switch controlling the lights locally and remotely. Time switches shall control contactors, <br />relays, or direct controlling of one (1), two (2), or three (3) lighting circuits, as indicated. <br />CONTRACTOR shall furnish and install photocells as specified herein or indicated on <br />the drawings for automatic “ON/OFF” switching of outdoor lighting. <br />3.02 TESTING <br />A. All tests shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the General <br />Conditions and Division 1. The following tests are required: <br />1. Certified Shop Tests <br />a. The lighting Luminaires shall be given routine factory tests in accordance <br />with the requirement of ANSI, NEMA and Underwriters Laboratories <br />standards. <br />2. Field Tests <br />a. Field testing shall be done in accordance with the requirements specified <br />in the General Conditions, Division 1, and NETA Acceptance Testing <br />Specifications, latest edition. <br /> <br />- END OF SECTION -
