The cable <br />stayed portion of the project consisted of two centerline pylons and 36 stays that ran from the back span segments over the upper section of the centerline <br />pylon and ended at the front span segments, all through a delta frame between the two carriageways. Stays varied in size from 11 strands to as much as 29 <br />strands and they were pressure grouted inside steel pipes.
