<br />24. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Includes scope, size, and cost)
<br />The scope of this project included professional architectural and engineering services for new construction, renovations, and
<br />restoration projects at multiple parks located along South Florida’s Eastern Coastline between the North County Line and SW
<br />Kendall Drive.
<br />On a task work order, FR Aleman performed a Topographic/DTM Survey and GPR/Designation services at the Haulover Park
<br />Marina.
<br />The Topographic Survey included all above ground features (edge of pavement, curbs, docks, seawalls, boat ramps, water
<br />level at time of survey, sidewalks, valves, fire hydrants, parking lines, striping), drainage structures, drainage and sewer pipes
<br />with inverts/size/material, sanitary manholes, visible utilities, signs, bollards, buildings; existing trees, their identities in English
<br />and botanical terms, height, trunk size, and approximate foliage areas; Vegetation Line where a heavy vegetation existed;
<br />existing major shrubs, undergrowth, and ground cover areas; detailed information required to establish curb and building
<br />lines, street, alley, sidewalk, and curb grades and lines; identification of all significant or unusual changes in grade delineation
<br />with elevations (swale/ditch centerlines, top of bank/toe of slope, berm, etc.); Spot Elevations shown in a 50-foot grid system;
<br />location of the underground utility lines; a DTM in Civil 3D; location and depiction of the existing right-of-way line of A1A/
<br />Collins Avenue; and established and set Horizontal Control points and Temporary Benchmarks.
<br />FR Aleman also provided subsurface utility (SUE) services. Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) field surveys were performed,
<br />including records research, identification of horizontal locations of existing utilities using electromagnetic techniques, marking
<br />ground targets, perform on-site designating field sketches, and survey of the utility targets. FR Aleman also performed
<br />designation, location, and survey of identified underground utilities at identified locations. Deliverables of this information
<br />included Test Hole Reports and CADD files. A total of 40 test holes were performed on this project.
