Walterdale Bridge, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Olentangy Trail Pedestrian Bridge, Columbus, OH Veterans’ Glass City Skyway, Toledo, OH Principal in Charge - HLB worked in a unique collaboration with the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo, and WSP to revitalize the “Glass City’s” iconic bridge. Inspired by the city’s industrial heritage, the glass-faced tower allows for a variety dynamic lighting shows to illuminate the skyline. HLB provided full design services from conceptual design through construction for the aesthetic and pedestrian path lighting. The result will be a nighttime image that elegantly reveals the forms of the bridge while being respectful of the surrounding wildlife and human communities.
