Assisted the Department <br />as an in-house consultant supporting the Intermodal Systems Development Office in the coordination of all ADA related activities. <br />Lead Roadway Engineer responsible for post design services implementing design changes prompted by contractor to this 2.25-mile urban segment of Kendall Drive, in <br />Miami-Dade County including milling and resurfacing, minor widening, minor drainage improvements, bridge pier protection, signing and pavement markings, ADA <br />compliance, minor lighting improvements and pedestrian signal improvements. This project required significant maintenance of traffic coordination with adjacent <br />projects, MDX, CSX, Baptist Hospital and Dadeland Mall. <br />Senior Roadway Engineer responsible for roadway and signing and pavement markings disciplines. Improvements include design of a new mid-block crossing, new <br />signalized intersection, widening, milling and resurfacing, horizontal alignment improvements, signing and pavement markings. Improvements also includes addition of <br />ADA ramps, driveway improvements, R/W acquisition, and Temporary Construction Easement agreements. <br />Senior Roadway Engineer responsible for roadway and signing and pavement markings disciplines. Improvements include design for extending and widening the existing <br />US 1 SB Left Turn Storage Lane at SW 137 Ave , new left turn lane between SW 252 Street and SW 137 Ave, new signalized intersection, widening, milling and <br />resurfacing, horizontal alignment improvements, signing and pavement markings, addition and relocation of ADA ramps, and light improvements.
