D-42 <br />RFQ 20-10-01 Professional Engineering and Architectural Services for Pedestrian Bridge with Park Elements Across A1A at 174th St. CCNA D <br />Evaluation Criteria Criteria Met <br />Professional Qualifications, the <br />respondent shall be licensed to do <br />business in the State of Florida. Specific <br />project experience relating to bridges, <br />and experience with FDOT. <br />The EAC Team is licensed to do business in the State of Florida. Specific project <br />experience includes FDOT projects that have been included as part of our <br />qualifications package. Our team has previous working relationships with each other <br />and with the FDOT. Most importantly we have the expertise and proven performance <br />providing the services required on this project to the FDOT and other agencies. EAC is <br />FDOT certified to provide Minor to Major Bridge Design in steel, concrete, or segmental <br />concrete - and we have successfully provided these services to the FDOT. <br />Size of workforce, workload and <br />availability of personnel <br />EAC has an average workload and an overall staff of 89 professionals (which includes <br />28 PEs, 12 EIs and 18 CEI personnel). We have proposed key staff resources that <br />are 100% available for this project. The resources at EAC are more than sufficient to <br />exceed the performance requirements for this contract. <br />Design Approach <br />The Team’s design approach optimizes local construction practices, and efficiency <br />of engineering and funds. Our design showcases the opportunity of this project to <br />bring art, landscape, and infrastructure together in an iconic bridge expression - while <br />serving as a crucial circulation link in the neighborhood. <br />Financial stability and past record We have included our financials that clearly demonstrate our stability as part of the <br />qualifications package. <br />Ability to complete project within <br />proposed schedule and within budget <br />The firms on the EAC Team have been carefully selected to ensure that they can align <br />themselves with EAC’s goal - to provide engineering excellence and exceptional client <br />services while delivering the project within schedule and budget. The staff leading <br />the team are talented professionals with the experience to get the job done. Quality, <br />Sensitivity to Schedule, and Attention to Budget will be the mindset of our Project <br />Team. <br />Is firm or sub-consultant a certified <br />minority business enterprise <br />EAC is a State of Florida certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE). We have also <br />included as part of our team Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) and Disadvantaged <br />Business Enterprises (DBEs). <br />References <br />The EAC Team consists of sub-consultant firms who collectively have been working <br />with FDOT for many years. EAC and our sub-consultants have built strong relationships <br />based on quality performances. Our qualifications package includes client references <br />that can attest to each firm’s superior performance. <br />EVALUATION CRITERIA SUMMARY <br />To facilitate the review of our qualifications package, we have prepared a summary to highlight our team’s unique qualifications in <br />accordance with the City of Sunny Isles Beach’s Evaluation Criteria.
